Memorial services for Kenneth "Ken" Cearley, 71, of Lufkin, will be held
at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Grace Baptist Church, 8319 FM
2021, Lufkin, Texas. Bro. Elton Musick will officiate. Mr. Cearley was
born January 10, 1940 in Chico, Texas, the son of the late Wanda Lavelle
(Robertson) and Jewell Alvin Cearley. He passed away May 25, 2011 in a
local hospital. Mr. Cearley was self employed. He owned and operated
Ken¹s Wrecking Yard. He was one of five founding members of the Shirley
Creek Bass Club. He loved to fish and enjoyed being at Sam Rayburn Lake.
His church was God¹s creation outdoors. Survivors include his wife,
Teressa Cearley, sons, Glenn Drysdale and David Drysdale; daughter,
Stacy Cearley; son, Rodney Cearley; daughter, Sharon Whitehead; numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike Cearley, Steve
Cearley and Gary Massie; sister, Kim Ford; and a number of other family
members. Mr. Cearley was preceded in death by his parents; grandson,
Benjamin Kody Williams; and brother, Timmy Cearley. Services are in the
care of Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home.

Kenneth "Ken" Cearley
Services for Kenneth "Ken" Cearley, 71, of Lufkin, are pending with
Gipson Funeral Home. Mr. Cearley was born Jan. 10, 1940 and died
Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in a local hospital. Memorial services will be
announced at a later date.
