Hello Again Everyone,
The message below comes to us from Rena. She has seen
a Bible for sale that might be of help to someone who is
subscribed to one of these many K-L-R surname lists. Rena
is also offering to try to get this wonderful, and important,
family Bible back to a family member. She transcribed some
of the hand-written notes, which are written in this Bible, into
the post below. If you wish to reach Rena, *please* send your
post directly to her at TBres24(a)aol.com (with a copy to the
list).

Hi
I was in a used book store in Colorado today and came across a very old
Bible
one of the large ones with the Keller name on the front and in the
center
is
a lot of information hand writen and it is mostly all in the old
caligraphy
It was in the Missouri section and at the time did not have my
glasses
with
me to see where place mentioned in a lot of the small print. It also
had
wedding documents and old old newspaper clippings of obits
The earlies date of a birth was 1827 the bible was a 1845 I believe.
Some
of the names Henry Sinkler Keller 1860 marr to Emily Johnston Keller
there
names are engraved on the front of this bible, George William Keller
Jr
1851,
Elizabeth Keller, Edwin b. 1865 Emily Elizabeth Kellere 1867, Andrew
Given
Johnston Sr. b. 1827 d. 1841, Henry Keller b. 1849
I know there was Philadelphia PA mentioned in it
This bible is old, the spine at the center is broke but all the notes of
genealogy of the families that someone put in (which are very old too) and
the
writing itself in the bible are very good shape
Please contact me if you know anyone that might be interested in this
bible
I wish so I could find my families bible like that I will give the
person
interested in it where to contact about it
Best
Rena
