Elizabeth Dalton, of the wonderful e-zine "The Caylor Chronicles" sent the
following information to me. I am already involved with the BRIDGES DNA
testing, and have
there found links that were previously unknown to me. Read the information
below to see if you'd be interested in signing on.

Terry Barton, Project Administator of Koehler-Caylor DNA surname list
located at
http://www.familytreedna.com/
became in involved in early 2005. Terry, has no Koehler-Caylor ancestors,
but to agreed to host the project in conjunction with FTDNA as both realized
not too many folks would become interested unless there was there was a
project underway. To date, there is only one participant and is a Caylor
descendent.
Terry is actively recruiting participants. To be eligible to participate in
the you must be a male descendent (i.e. Koehler, Caylor, Kaylor, Kohler,
etc). The Y-chromosome present in every male, passes almost unchanged from
father to son down through though the generations. The ladies may also
order DNA kits to test for mtDNA which passes from mother to all her
children, both male and female, tracing maternal relationship. For more
information on Genetic Genealogy, visit Family Tree's website at
http://www.familytreedna.com/
Terry is also seeking a volunteer to take over the Koehler surname project.
He will remain in the background and offer assistance as needed. Terry may
be contacted at terry(a)bartonsite.org
