Pearl A. Caylor was the SON of Eli and Maggie Caylor. Pearl was not female.
Loudon County. TN is where Eli Caylor and family were in 1910 Census. No idea what
happened to Pearl Caylor after 1930 and before 1940. He doesn't appear on the Death
index for 1930,but apparently was dead by 1940 as his wife, (Lora Couch Caylor) appears in
the City Directory for Knoxville as a widow.
Neither Pearl or Lora are listed in the Directory for 1938 or 1939
1940 Knoxville, TN City Directory list Caylor, Lora C widow of Pearl A. spinner,
Applachian Mills, residence is 503 S University Ave.
Still listed as widow to Pearl A in 1942, but Lora is now living on Edgewater. By this
time, Lora had a son named Jimmy "Caylor" but his father wasn't Pearl. Lora
had not remarried.
The 1943 directory is not complete and stops at the end of the B's. so nothing is
listed for Lora in 1949 directory.
Here is 1926 Knoxville, TN city directory information for Caylors. This may help
someone in researching their Caylor line.
