I have a Susanna Frishwater Cawood daughter of Thomas and Ann Frishwater
Cawood (might be Freshwater). This Susanna is probably before yours as she
has siblings born around 1738-40. I don't have a birthdate for her or any
other information on her.
I am copying the list on this response, in hopes of getting a little action
on this list. Leaving the original message intact (which I would ordinarily
trim) in hopes others have info.

I am down here in Ala. and had forgotten I was on this list since I
haven`t
seen any activity lately; Also, I just noticed a CAYWOOD-List Is there
some
good purpose for 2 lists; as I would say the various spellings are the
same
family?
I seem to be desc. from one Susanna Cawood who md. one James HOSKINS
(HODGKINS) IN Alexandria Va. about 1811(?) If he is my 3rd grt grfather
then
he is supposed to have come from Scotland. I write a lot from memory
so
this
date may not be exactly correct. Who knows ? she may not even be my
correct
line. \The records for that area sure haven`t yeilded many answers for
me.
The names "Moses" and "Benjamin" both run in my HOSKINS and TENNISON
families
of that area.
