County of Milam ) TO THE HONORABLE Massalon Farley,
Judge of Probate in and for the county aforesaid.
Your petitioner would most respectfully represents that Andrew Cavitt a
citizen of this Republic died on the 1st day of July 1836, instate and
that you petitioner is the widow of the deceased she therefore prays
your Honor to grant her letters of administration upon the Estate of her
late husband, and to make such orders as in your wisdom may seem right
and just and equitable about the premises and your petitioner as in duty
bound etc.,

And afterwards towit at the September Term of said Court in the year
last aforesaid came the said Ann Cavitt and returned an inventory of
said Estate made by Elijah Powers and James Marlin, appraisers appointed
by said court which said inventory is in the following words and figures
