Your petitioner Ann Cavitt late administratrix of the estate of Andrew
Cavitt, deceased would most respectfully represent that she was
appointed administratrix of the estate aforesaid in the year 1837 by the
Hon. Chief Justice of Milam County then having jurisdiction of the same
and afterwards towit.
In the year 1839 that the administratrix aforesaid presented her account
for final settlement with said court which was received and thereupon
the court issued a commission of partition and division to Messr. Moore
and Wheelock whose acts and doings about the premises were made a matter
of record in said Courts a copy of which is herewith exhibited and
further your petitioner would represent to the Honorable Court aforesaid
that after diligent search of the acts and proceedings in the case in
the Honorable Probate court of Milam of record she has not been able to
find any entry of settlement of her administration on the estate
aforesaid, although there was an actual settlement and division of
property as before mentioned, and all debts duo from said estate were
paid as far as known to said administratrix and therefore she most
respectfully asks the Honorable Court aforesaid to be discharged from
any further liabilities on said Administratrix and such further order
and decrees as the court may deem just and proper about the premises and
your petitioner in duty bound will ever pray etc.

Peace of the County aforesaid Ann Armstrong and to me personally known
to be the same whose petition appears above and made oath in due form of
law that the facts set forth in the above petition is just and true.
