I agree with you on the "two other men", but this is the
first time I recall having heard the names. MANY THANKS.
I copied the inscription on the marker directly from
a photograph I made of the marker.

I am sure that you have faithfully transcribed the words on the Cavitt
Station memorial marker, but I thought there were two other militiamen
with
Alexander Cavitt that day, namely Francis Bowry and John Spurgen, and that
they all
three got killed, along with Alexander's family.
