I have Mathew Hayes Cavin and wife Sarah C. McIntire Cavin buried in Jewel
Co Kansas and their names were misspelled CAVAN and their son (my great
grand father) John Wallace Cavin is buried in a Fresno CA cemetery with a
civil war marker (30th Ill Inf,Co A). His name was misspelled CALVIN and
they chiseled out the "L" It looks like this John W. CA VIN. I know a
few sign painters that can't spell either........Jack
