Polly Keele is NOT buried in the Burdett/Cavin Cemetery. She died most probably in
Bedford County, TN before the Cavins moved to MO sometime between 1839 and 1842. There is
no record left of her grave and no will. The Bedford County Courthouse has burned several
times also. Joseph Cavin was married to Hannah Keele in 1825 before the move to MO.
Hannah Keele (2nd wife), Mary Keele (3rd wife...not a proven sister to Polly and
Hannah...could be a sister-in-law), and Joseph are buried there. Joseph's tombstone
says he was born in Hawkins Co, TN. Hannah and Mary's stones say they were the wife
of Joseph Cavin.
Joseph's 4th wife was Margaret (Abel) Wollard, widow of Nathanial Wollard, moved back
to Dallas County, MO after Joseph died. She is buried in Dallas County.
