Ensor, age 88, of Fairfield, passed away, Saturday, November 14, 1998 at
7:30 a.m. at Tri-County Extended Care Center. She was born March 25, 1910,
in Bulls Gap, Tennessee the daughter of William and Phoebe (Mowel) Cavin.
In 1940, in Kentucky, she married Gentry P. Ensor, who preceded her in
death in 1997. Mrs. Ensor, was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Rick (Benda) Ensor of Fairfield and David
(Linda) Ensor of Fairfield; one daughter, Ina Ruth Quicksall of Fairfield;
four grandhcildren, Carrie (Craig) Coffey, Daivd Ensor, Phillip Ensor and
Tiffany (Eric) Ward; one great granddaughter, Josie Coffey; five brothers,
Earl Cavin Sr. of Hamilton, Merle Cavin of Hamilton, Vean Cavin of
Hamilton, Tom Cavin of Sevierville, Tennessee and Ray Cavin of Pigeon
Forge, Tennessee; two sisters, Ruby Linkous of Hamilton and Minnie Short of
Morristown, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, one
brother, Lewis Cavin and two sisters, Dovie Powell and Roxie Alvis.
Funeral swervice will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 1998 at
the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue with Rev. Barry
Wilson, Pastor of the Hilltip Baptist Church and Rev. Phil Taylor, Pastor
of the Rolling Hills Baptist Church, officiating. Entombment to follow at
Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Tuesday at the funeral home.
