MOSES CAVIN witnessed a deed from David McCarley of Spartanburg
and wife Ursilla, to Alexander Alexander for 100 acres on both
sides of Jamie's creek of Tyger river. Land joined Jacob
Earnest, Henry Cearley, and John Bragg. It was part of a 150
acres grant issued 25 Jun 1765 to William Hendricks who sold it
the 13 and 14 Jan 1772 to Moses McCarley . 100 acres left by
will to son David McCarley.
