I am looking for Cavins who were in the Gainesville (Cooke County)
area of
North Texas in the late 1800's. My grandfather Archie Grace Cavins was
born
in 1884 and his brother Courtland (C.L.) was older. A sister,
Marguerite,
was the oldest child and died at 6 mos. We do not know their father's
given
name. We only have pictures that say "Chick" on the back.
My father
believes that his grandmother's maiden name was Shepperd (sp?). If
anyone
can help we would appreciate it.
