Steve - Do you have the year of your grandfather's birth, and who his
father/grandfather were? Other than my Uncle Donald Cavin (who is not
your Donald), I don't see another Donald in Marion's list, but with a
date, I can narrow down my search for you. Betty

Betty,
My grandmother was Marion Rhodes, of Norwich, Ontario. She married
Donald Cavin, my grandfather, of Sudbury, Ontario. They moved to
Pontiac, Michigan before WWII, and had two sons, George Edward Cavin and
Donald Cavin, Jr. They also had a daughter, Dorothy Cavin.
George Edward Cavin of Norwich, Ontario (my father) married Margaret
Lucile Weihe of Detroit, Michigan. They had four sons, Edward Scott
Cavin, Steven Charles Cavin (me!), Mark Bradley Cavin, and Michael Brian
Cavin.
And (finally!) Steven Charles Cavin, of Pontiac Michigan, married Vai
Ching Choi, of Macau, China. They had three sons, Matthew Hunter Cavin,
Joshua Benjamin Cavin, and Gabriel Joseph Cavin.
I've always wanted to know more about my ancestors. Please tell me a
little more about our family.
Many thanks,
Steve

one of her daughters, also Elizabeth, married my great grandfather, Angus Greenlaw.
I'm not at home to check my files but Angus and John Greenlaw were cousins I believe.
