John, thanks so much for the info. I checked the birthdates of our
Joseph and Thomas, and they don't click for the Joseph and Thomas you
mentioned, but maybe the Joseph and Thomas you mentioned were brothers
or cousins of ole Elusive Andy, and that's why he moved down to
Arkansas?! I know that they lived in Fulton County, which is far north
Ark, and Lonoke looks to be central Ark.
Andy's William Thomas (my great grandfather) was born to Andy and Nancy
Chapman Cavin in 1861, so he wouldn't have been old enough to purchase
land in 1859 and 1869; Joseph, son of Andy and Mary Jose Graves Cavin,
was born in 1867, so he wasn't born in 1858 when the Joseph you
mentioned purchased that land.
I'll keep your email in my Cavin file; maybe we'll find a connection.
Thanks again for taking the time to check your info.

Linda.. I have some info. that may be related to your query. I show a Joseph Cavin
acquiring 80 acres in Lonoke Co. Ark. 1/15/1858, a Thomas Cavin buying 80 acres on
7/1/1858 and 40 acres on 12/1/1869 in Lonoke Co., Ark. Its a start!! John Cavin Graham
