Hi,
My husband [who is a descendant of Samuel S. BURDETT SR [1823-1877] and
Sarah A. E. CAVIN [1833-1899] and I are trying to get a group together
to meet us in Polk County, Missouri, on Sat., Jun 12, in order to clean
the Burdett-Cavin Cemetery. It is grown up with 50 years of weeds,
trees, and just a mess that one cannot get to any stones.
The cemetery is on private property and we are trying to get in touch
with the owner to get permission to go on the his field to the fenced
off lot.
Anyone interested in joining us, if we can get this going? We would
need chainsaws, axes, hatchets, gas powered weedeaters, and the like.
It will take several people to get it all done in a day.
The cemetery is outside of Pleasant Hope in Polk Co.
Please respond if you can and are willing to help!
