Hello
In Missouri, St. Clair County, Township 36N Range 25 W See page 22 West
Part Washington East Part Collins . In #7 Upper left hand corner, second from
the top square is approximately where the farm was located for Merritt Henry
Cave bn abt 1819, which he bought for his sons James R. Cave and Merrit H.
Cave and his daughter Sany E. Cave. (Sany E. Cave may possibly be a Fanny or
Frances Cave, but it is not know).
This Merritt Henry Cave born abt 1819 is brother to Richard Cave and Hugh
Cave, of the Cave's that migrated to California from Boone County, Missouri
during the Gold Rush in 1850.
I have just now, after three years of research, started to find living
relatives and researchers on the descendants of Richard Caves, Merrit H.
Cave's brother. I still have not found anyone who is researching or is a
descendant of Merritt H. Cave, other than connected to his grandson Martie W.
Caves line to me. That even though these two Cave men, father and son both
named Merrit H. Cave, appear to have 5 marriages between them.
