Hello:
All you Caves and Cave researchers out there,, I have just sent this
information on a John Caves, who would have been born Abt 1883, in Saline
County Illinois, but died in Butler County, Missouri on May 4, 1889 at age of
6. I am sure this is my great grandfather Merrit Cave's son. Merrit has
been extremely hard to locate, moving back and forth between Illinois and
Missouri. If you have anything, or can find anything on this John Caves, of
Saline County Illinois, please, let me know.

I only show a John Caves, it says he is 6 years old, a timberman, death was
reported on May 4, 1889, he died of Pneumonia at Johnson's Sawmill, he was
from Saline Co. Illinois, he had lived in Missouri for 7 months, he
evidently had complications such as inflamation of the brain that lasted for
3 days. Total length of disease is reported as 5 days. He was buried at
Johnson's Sawmill on April 14, 1889, undertaker is reported as Johnson's
sawmill, his doctor was N H Grigsby, from Ash Hill Township.
So far this is the only Caves that I can find. Hope it helps a little bit!

<< Hello
I am wondering, if in the death records for Butler county, Missouri,
there might be any Caves, especially a Merritt, but any Cave or Caves
spellings?
