Subject: {not a subscriber} CAVENDER-CHISENHALL
Hi!
After 5 years of searching I finally knocked a hole in my brick wall!
I found in a history book from Kansas:
Richmond CAVENDER'S (b:abt 1805) married to Mary (Polly) Chisenhall
(b:about
1806) parents of Congressman Henderson Cavender. Richmond and Mary
were
married in 1825 in Posey Co, IN. The Cavenders migrated to Henderson
County
in the late 1700's.
I am seeking information on very early CAVENDER'S and Chisenhalls.
My suspicion is that Alexander CHISENHALL was Mary CHISENHALL'S father and
Salley WATSON was her mother. The book stated that Mary's mother died when
she was tiny and her father died on the way back from the War of 1812. She
had
little recollection of them.
Any information about Alexander CHISENHALL (Chizenhall, Chissenhall) or
Cavenders (Cavinders) would be greatly appreciated!
Have a great day!
Lynn Clarke
