This came from the Clwyd, Wales mailing list. Although I don't think the
probem came from
ancestry.com itself, but the credit card was intercepted.
Just passing it along.
Have a good day!

and that is getting close to $1900 U.S on exchange figures! Can you afford
to lose this money???
Hi
There have been a number of complaints in regard to
ancestry.com on
various
mailing lists. I am not at liberty to state what these are or what
they
referred to at the time, except to say that at the time of checking them,
I
became extremely cautious about this web-site and determined that I
would
never, ever, give them details of my credit card. (My personal opinion, of
course.) They seem very pushy at the very least, and I would not be
surprised if there were advertising folk connected who receive a
commission. I could be wrong, and would be the first to apologize if such
were the case. Nevertheless, the inputs from various emailing lists seem
to
indicate that all is not well with ancestry.com's way of doing
business.
So, take care.
Sincerely
Graham Price
