of Arms w/ Lion & Roses
We may be of the same line, i.e., descending from Hugh Cavender,
first of
Amelia Co., Va. and later from Charlotte Co., Va, where he died leaving
seven children, including apparently your John Hugh Cavender.
I descend from his brother James Eudaley Cavender who moved his
family to
Williamson County, Tn. Most of his offspring moved to Texas and one son
became a Primitive Baptist preacher who moved to Kentucky. Some of his
offspring likewise moved to Texas.
I would be most interested if your Hugh Cavender is the son of the Hugh
Cavender
who died in Charlotte Co. Va.
I would be more than pleased to share data with you.
J.T. Cavender
