I've "rescued" two old photographs, the first is a photograph which
includes
Nettie DAVIS which was taken at the Misses O'Donnell Studio in Beloit,
Kansas. Nettie is pictured with three others, however, they are not
identified. The photo was likely taken in the 1890's and Nettie appears to
be in her 40's or 50's at the time. On the back of the photo it says "Aunt
of Betty CAVE".
The second photo is a wedding photograph taken by the Palace Railroad
Photograph Studio which doesn't include a location since the photographer
traveled. This photograph was probably also taken in the 1890's and
includes five people, S.V CAVE; Bettie CAVE; Charles DAVIS (Cousin of
Bettie); G.C. DAVIS; and Villa (BAKER) WERTZ. It appears that the CAVE's
are the couple whose wedding day is celebrated with this photograph. All of
the parties in the photograph appear to be in their 20's at the time.
I'm hoping that someone from the family can be located so that the
photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a
member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
