Clara Mayberry (CAVE) went to her rest July 21, 2004 at the age of
86 years in the Innisfail Hospital. She was born December 17, 1917
on her Dad's old homestead in the Raven District. She married Wilton
Mayberry in 1938 and spent most of their married life in Red Deer
operating Mayberry's 2-11 Service & Trailer Park. Clara loved music,
nature, people and her long stay at Barrett Place in Red Deer. She is
survived by her daughter Irene (Derald) Pedersen. Three grandchildren
and four great grandchildren; Brian (Sherry) Pedersen, Carl (Nora)
Pedersen and their son Jason, Bonnie MacPherson and her family
Kayla, Kyle and Kelly Lynn, all of Innisfail. Also survived by adopted
daughter Frances Mayberry and her family of Edmonton, one sister
Goldie Coleman of Innisfail, two brothers Alan (Linda) Cave of Camrose
and Art (Lil) Cave of Victoria, British Columbia. Numerous nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Wilton in January 1988.
At Clara's request there will be no funeral, but a family graveside service
with Reverend Lyle Coblentz officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may
be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 101-5208-53
Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 5K2. There was an afternoon tea for
Clara's family and friends July 23, 2004 at 2:30 pm at the Heartland
Funeral Services Ltd, 4415-49 Street, Innisfail.
