CLEO CAVE
Cleo "Glee" Cave, 86, a former resident of Valley Head (WV) and a
patient in the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center, passed away at
12:40 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2003, at the center.
She was born June 16, 1916, at Jenningston, a daughter of the late
Cam and Gettie Mae Carr Wilfong.
On Oct. 5, 1934, she was married to Clyde Cave, who preceded her in
death on Oct. 20, 1973. She is survived by two sons, Clyde "Gene" Cave
of Elkins and Charles "Chuck" Cave of Dailey; and two daughters,
Charlene L. Smith of Elkins and Carolyn L. Triber of Beverly. Also
surviving are 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-
great-grandchild.
Also preceding her in death were two sons, Clarence and Carlin Cave;
one daughter, Catherine Cave, three brothers, Howard, Russell and
James Wilfong; and three sisters, Icie, Delphia and Oda Wilfong.
Mrs. Cave was a homemaker.
Friends may call at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins from 7 p.m. until
9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from the
funeral home chapel with the Rev. Frank Long officiating. Interment will
follow in the Valley Head Cemetery. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins
is in charge of the arrangements for Cleo "Glee" Cave. From 7 Mar 2003.

Mary L. Cave, 80, died at Life Care Center of Escondido (CA) and went
home to be with the Lord on Jan. 30. She was born in Dearborn, Mich.,
and lived many years in Vista. She was a devoted wife to Kermit Cave,
who preceded her in death Nov. 1, 1999. Mrs. Cave was a bookkeeper in
Vista and also for the San Diego Police Dept. before retiring to Hemet.
She is survived by her four children, Charles of Henderson, Nev., Virginia
Johnston of Rancho Bernardo, Robert of Upland, and Julie of Hemet;
eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held in Hemet on February 4.

Rosella M. Cave
Hollis resident and centurian
Rosella M. (Clinton) CAVE, 100, of Hollis, N.H., died at Ridgewood
Center in Bedford, on June 14, 2004, following an illness.
She was born in Nova Scotia on Dec. 21, 1903, a daughter of the
late Robert Freeman and Ella May (Bennett) Clinton. She was a long
time resident of Hollis. She was the widow of Francis Morgan Cave,
who died on Feb. 23, 1976.
At one time, Mrs. Cave owned and operated Clinton's Greenhouse in
Hollis. She also worked at the former Whitney Screw Company and at
the former Sevigne Tool and Machine Company. When she first came
to the United States, she worked as a housekeeper.
She had many interests, including making hundreds of quilts for ABC
quilts for the AIDS babies program, not only on the local level but
elsewhere as well. She was active in the Hollis community, and at
one time worked on the Strawberry Festival committee. She had a
fondness for crocheting and embroidery. She was also a member of
the Hollis Grange for many years and the Rebekahs. Mrs. Cave was
a member of the Hollis Congregational Church, where she was very active.
Mrs. Cave was predeceased by her daughters, Alberta Doyle of
Merrimack and Dorothy Storm of Hollis; a granddaughter, Sharon Caye;
and all of her nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, Robert Cave of Florida; her grandchildren and
their spouses, Stephen and Connie Storm of Nashua; Frank Storm of
Hollis, Lora Barmann of Florida, Arthur and Linda Doyle of Nashua,
Alan and Arlene Doyle of Hudson, Lisa Doyle of Nashua, Marlys Cave
of Colorado, Wendy and Joseph Sisson of Rhode Island, Tyler and
Maddie Cave of Lyndeborough, Janice Philbrick of Milford, and Rosella
and Dave Hartwell of Pepperell, Mass.; numerous great-grandchildren
and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including
a niece, Velma Hayes (who lived with Mrs. Cave from the age of two);
and her former daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Cave of Milford.
Visiting hours will be held today, Thursday, June 17, 6-8 p.m., at the
Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua. The funeral service will
be held Friday, June 18, at 11 a.m., at Hollis Congregational Church,
U.C.C., Monument Square, Hollis. The Rev. John Terry will officiate.
Interment prayers and burial will follow in East Cemetery, Hollis.

RUBY E. CAVE

Ruby Ellen Cave, 71, of Crossville (TN), passed away Sept. 10, 2003.
Funeral services were conducted Sept. 13 from the chapel of Crossville
Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Henry Cemetery. Billy Smith
officiated.
Mrs. Cave was born Oct. 17, 1931 in Crossville, the daughter of the
late William and Cora Barnwell. Survivors include her husband,
Dencal Ray Cave; sons, Dale Work of Crossville and Allen Ray Cave
of Dallas, TX; daughters, Leslie Gui of Smyrna, Kelly Hatfield and
Debbie Davis; brothers, Willis and Daryl Barnwell of Nashville; sister,
Shirley Kimbro of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren; and several
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers were William Gui, Allen Cave, James Rhea, Chris
Harrington, Richard Schultz and Oliver Work. Crossville Memorial
Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements
