SHELBINA Darlene Caves, 47, of Shelbina, died at 8:57 a.m.
Oct. 15, 2000, at St. Margarets Mercy Health Care Center in
Dyer, Ind.
There will be no funeral services. The body is to be cremated.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at
Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina.
Mrs. Caves was born Aug. 12, 1953, in Dyer to Joseph and
Mildred Schwietzer Tokarz.
She was married to Rick Caves on Aug. 25, 1973, in Hammond,
Ind. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Royce Tharp of Shelbina and
Richard Caves of Lenexa, Kan.; one daughter, Mary Caves of
Shelbina; two brothers, Joseph Tokarz of Lowell, Ind., and Gerald
Tokarz of Hammond; four sisters, Mildred A. Tokarz of Dyer,
Judy Selby of Portage, Ind., Marlene Kramzric of Lynnwood, Ill.,
and Cecelia Mortorn of Terre Haute, Ind.; and several nieces and
nephews.
Mrs. Caves was a Baptist by faith and served as president of
Shelbina Progressive Women.
She was a graduate of Lake Central High School in Dyer, Ind.
