Michael,
The following is the full entry that Jane found. Since the will is dated 1652, it is not
inconsistent with Brian's Valentine b. 1581 - or am I missing something?

Jim,
I don't know who sent his dna in but I suspect it must be Brian Cave, whose
genealogy from the Cave Family History Society in England is as follows (from their
website..no other details available).
[Brian Cave (452) Cave of Maidford, NTH
Brian’s parents were Richard (1912) and Eileen C Brewer, then Henry George (1881) and
Elizabeth Schofield of Maidford; Richard (1832) and Fanny Reeve; William (1797) and
Susannah Hollaway; Richard (1775) and Ann Cooper of Thorpe Mandeville; Thomas (c1745) and
Sarah Bartlett; Thomas (1714) and Elizabeth of Guilsborough; William (1685) and Joice;
John (1661) and his first wife Elizabeth Seamark; John (1624) and Elizabeth Hide and so to
Valentine (c1585) and Agnes. ]
I think that there was another lineage I saw which indicated that this Valentine Cave
died in 1652...so this probably is the same man. Obviously it would not be the Valentine
Cave that Jane found, whose will was probated in 1606.
I guess I will join that Society..then they give out the emails of members.
Alternatively I can ask Hugh Cave, President of the Society, whom I have been "email
corresponding" with.

Michael, do you have any way to contact the Valentine desc in England to see
if he thinks this could be his ancestor Valentine. Alternatively, he could
provide us with specifics on his Valentine.
