Subject: Magazines: Be Sure to Read Letters to the Editors & Readers Pages
Hi All,
You never know where you may find a "cousin" lurking!
As I was reading The June 2004 Issue of Family Tree Magazine,
last night I was reading the Readers Response Page
Called Making Connections.
There was a note giving Great Reviews to an article in
the February 2004 magazine (which I think was delivered at Xmas)
I had not read most of it but it was still sitting on my table.
The Article "Hitting Home" is by Nancy Hendrickson, who
writes many good and worthy articles! This was on Surfing
using search engines and a whole lot more to find data online.
So I thought I best read this one. Lo and Behold on page 22
she is giving an example of searching for her ancestor Galen Cave.
Hmm North Carolina to Missouri family. He has to connect to
that part of the family, of which we have many cousins.
Wonder if you are aware you have a noted genealogist in the
family line??
Sue Ellen Cave Ash
P.S. Our Rootsweb Review editor is one of my cousins with
a North Carolina Vanderpool connection.
She had emailed me a couple of times.
Its just so much fun finding these things out!
