THESE named slaves bought by henry cave may have been taken to milam co.
texas and lived and died there. Henry and his family and his possessions went
to milam co. by 1860. texas.
WE do not know if there is a slave burial ground listed as suchin milam co?

STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, CLARK COUNTY - James BALLARD to Henry W. CAVE - Deed of
Trust - This indenture made and entered into this twenty forth day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five between
James BALLARD of the county and state aforesaid of the first part, and Henry
W. CAVE of the second part same county and state witnesseth that the said
party of the first part for an in consideration of the sum of three thousand
five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part
at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, have this day
bargained sold and delivered unto the said party of the second part in trust
the following described Negro slave for life and other property to wit, a
Negro man named Prince aged about thirty five years, a Negro woman named
Ester aged about twenty two years and her child named Bob, aged about one
year and a Negro girl aged three years also two horses and all my right title
intrest and claim in and to a certain crop of cotton now growing on South
West quarter of Section Number Six, Township 3 of Range 15 East & S. W. 1/4
Sec 6 T3 R15 East, as
