CORNELIA C. CAVE
Greenville
Cornelia Lee Clinkscales CAVE, 99, widow of the Rev. J.A. CAVE,
died Thursday, July 10, 2003, at The Bethea Baptist Retirement
Center in Darlington, S.C.
Born in Abbeville, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Lamar Clinkscales.
She was a graduate of Winthrop College and a member of Edwards
Road Baptist Church. She was a former member of Mountain Creek
Baptist Church, where her late husband was pastor for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. John Cave of Lumberton, N.C., and
Dr. Julian Cave of Boca Grande, Fla.; two daughters, Mary CaveTurner
of Clarkesville, Ga., and Ruth Cave Robertson of Montevallo, Ala.;
10 grandchildren, David Cave, Philip Cave, Laura Britt, Jay Cave,
Mark Cave, Stuart Cave, Michelle Newman, Bert Turner, Cam
Robertson and Renee Corley; and eight great-grandchildren, David
Britt, Philip Cave, Will Britt, Jonathan Cave, Carleigh Newman,
Christian Newman, Julian Cave and Sebastian Cave.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mountain Creek Baptist Church
with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Officiating will be the Rev. David Shirley and Mrs. Cave's sons and
daughters.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cave Scholarship
Fund, North Greenville College, 7801 Tigerville Road, Tigerville,
SC 29688.

OCONTO -- Dean CAVE, 91, of Oconto died Sunday,
April 6, 2003, at Callaway District Hospital in Callaway.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist
Church in Oconto. The Rev. Dale Coates will officiate. Burial will
be in Oconto Cemetery with military rites.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Govier Brothers
Mortuary and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the
church.

OMA LOUTENA "TENA" CAVE
Oma Loutena "Tena" CAVE, 91, of San Angelo died Thursday,
Nov. 22, 2001, in a local nursing home.
Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, in
Belvedere Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Heimbecker officiating.
Miss CAVE was born Aug. 8, 1910, in Eden to William Walter and
Elizabeth Roberts CAVE. Tena was raised in the Arden Community.
She moved to San Angelo where she worked for McClellands and
later for Woolworths for many years where she retired.
Tena was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Beatrice
Rice and Bernice Horeis; three brothers, Clifford CAVE, Wallace
"Bud" CAVE and Elwood CAVE.
Survivors include five nieces, Donna Ballard and Sherry Skelton,
both of San Angelo, Frances Waters of Pittsburgh, Texas, Cydney
Martinez of San Antonio and Laura CAVE of San Angelo; a nephew,
Philip CAVE of San Antonio; a sister-in-law, Fran CAVE of San
Antonio; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Vistacare Family
Hospice and the Regency house for their loving care of Tena during
her last days.
