George Park CAVE
George Park Cave of Gainesville died Thursday at the Veterans
Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville. He was 81.
Born in Kaufman, Texas, Mr. Cave came here from Beachgrove, Ind.,
36 years ago.
He was the chief of medical illustration at the VA hospital and a
Sunday school teacher for 36 years.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 326th Airborne
Medical Co. of the 101st Airborne Division. He was awarded the
purple heart for injuries in the Battle of the Bulge, where he was
taken as a prisoner by the Germans.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Evangeline Read Cave of Gainesville;
a sister, Ruth Cave, of Kaufman, Texas; sons Ronald Cave of Garland,
Texas, Phillip Cave of Fenton, Mich., Stephen Cave of Atlanta,
Douglas Cave of Searcy, Ark., Wendell Cave of Jenson Beach,
and Kevin Cave of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Gayle Isbell of
Fort Worth, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Juanita Cave
Juanita Pruitt Cave, 73, of San Angelo died Monday, April 12, 1999, in a
local hospital.
There will be no services. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
She was born July 2, 1925, in Bronte. She was a bookkeeper and a member of
College Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Walter C. Cave, two daughters, Donna Ballard
and Laura A. Cave, a sister, Betty Henderson, and four grandchildren, all of
San Angelo.

Charlton Ruth "Scootie" Cave

Funeral services for Charlton Ruth "Scootie" CAVE, 83, of Alba
were held Monday, July 9, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson-Bartley Funeral
Home Chapel in Alba with Rev. Danny Paasch officiating.
Burial followed in Golden City Cemetery with Paul Richey, David
Richey, Jimmy Busbee, Jackie Busbee, Ricky Williams, and Erick
Baumgardner serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were
Jason Cave, Ricky Williams, Bobby Williams, Dillon McGuire,
Dakota Williams, and Jordan Williams.
Mrs. Cave died Thursday, July 5, at Harvest Care Center in Mineola.
She was born August 2, 1917, in Golden. She was a Baptist and a
housewife.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael Ray and
Vickie Cave of Alba; one brother and sister-in-law, James and
Helen Busbee of Alba; one sister, Dorothy Richey of Alba; four
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
