TEN ARE MADE NEW CITIZENS
Naturalization Papers At Hearing Granted
Ushered into United States citizenship with patriotic talks
by representatives of the American Legion, American Bar association and Daughters of the
American Revolution, six
persons Friday were granted naturalization at semiannual
district court hearing.
Naturalization papers were issued four other state residents Friday following a hearing
before Edgar S. Vaught,
federal judge. Papers were issued to George Gossen, Thomas
B. Cave, Samuel Falkovits and Hinrich Meno Hinrichs.
Falkovits had his name changed to Falk, while Hinrichs took
the name of Henry.
In district court, the citizenship rights were granted by
George W. Clark, district judge, after an examination by
Michael McCaul, Kansas City, Mo., assistant district naturalization director.
The new citizens were Thomas Queder, 611 West Frisco avenue, native of Austria; William H.
Schlemeyer, 19 Southwest Forty-second street, Germany; John S. Ginnakopoulos, 350 West
California avenue, Russia; Max Alexander, 34 East Second street, Russia; and Vasilios
Panagopoulos, 904 East Twenty-first street.
Petition of Mike Begarek was continued until July and that of Cornelius Everaard was
dismissed without prejudice to allow further study.
