June Cave
EASTLAND - June C. Cave, 82, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000,
at a Bonham hospital.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel
with the Rev. Henry Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Eastland
Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Rites.
Mr. Cave was born in Ironton, Mo. He worked in Nevada and Las
Vegas Tonopah Reno Stage Lines from 1938 to 1960, serving as
superintendent for Continental Trailways Bus Lines in Nevada for
five years before retiring in 1965. He moved to Eastland in 1988
and married Earlene Oglesby in 1970. He was very active in the
Masonic Lodge in Dillon Montana AF & AM #16, past master,
Reno Masonic Lodge #13, Bagdad Shrine Temple, Kerak Shrine
Temple, Royal Arch Masons of Nevada, Reno Council of Royal
and Select Masters, Egypt Shrine Temple of Florida, Reno York
Rite Bodies, Eastland Masonic Lodge #467, post commander
of American Legion Post #466, Past Noble Grans of 100F. He was
a member of the Presbyterian Church of Eastland and was a WWII
Air Force veteran serving in the Berlin Airlift and Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Earlene, of Eastland; three sons,
John Cave of San Andrews, Calif. David E. Cave of Oxnard, Calif.,
George E. Cave of Calif.; step-daughter, Patricia McLain of Atlanta,
Ga.; two step-sons, Larry Larkin of Seattle, Wash., Michael Larkin
of Seattle, Wash.

Mrs. Mary CAVE Turlington, 77, of Fairview Drive, died Sunday,
June 30, 2002, at Lexington Memorial Hospital after an illness of
six weeks. Mrs. Turlington was born December 1, 1924 in Surry
County to Thomas R. CAVE and Bessie Hudson CAVE.
Survivors include......brothers, Johnny Cave of Harbinger, Elwood
Cave, Jasper Cave and Tommy Cave, all of Dobson; sisters,
Cora Lee Womble of Siler City, Launa Woodle and Jane Bunker
both of Dobson.
