Thanks, Michael. We know that our Cafferty and McGuire families were from
the area around Ballina/Westport, so have wondered if the Cavanaugh's could
be from that area, also. I hope to be able to share more info with you after
hearing back from the two men who matched my husband's DNA 36 of 37 markers.
It seems that all of my husband's ancestors were of Irish origin and came to
Scranton, PA, at various times, the Kinsella's having stopped off for a
generation to be born in England before a son came to Scranton. More later.
