I have been looking for several months can not find place of
arrival. Since Delia was in Michigan when she married I tend to think they
may have come from Ireland to Canada (2 boat people) and then to Mich.
William Baker's occupation is listed as stevedore, He was born in New
Brunswick, I have not found the Cavanaugh family there in the 1845 time
period. My mother said they came from Galway to American and lived in Fl
all the time. I was shocked to find them marring in Mi.

all the children were born to Martha. I do have the names of some of the
childrens children and some dates on them. Do you suppose they came to the
U. S . at another port other than New York. I can find no passenger list for
them.
