Gwen:
I monitor your list server for any links to Cavanaughs in the Cincinnati /
Covington KY area. My grandmother, who died in 1918, was a Cavanaugh. She
had lived in Kenton County KY before marriage (1899). Her parents were
Frederick and Hannah Cavanaugh. (I know the first names are not Irish, but
that is all I have.)

Good morning Gwen. I am still here, and enjoy seeing the various enquirys.
I have had nothing to contribute for awhile, but I have gotten an interesting
impression which I will follow up on lately, namely that when the other
brother in our particular line of Cavanaughs "went north" he may have gone to
the Pennsylvania area. In fact I have never found our immigrant (John
Christopher Cavanaugh) on a ship list, and I will next look in that area,
thinking maybe when he and his brother (Patrick) show up in Alabama, they had
come from Pennsylvania where Patrick may have returned. Time will tell.
Thanks for your work.

Good Morning List!
(don't you just hate cheery people in the morning ;-)
I hope everyone is well and having excellent luck in their searches for
missing family members. I'm currently searching for a friend who doesn't
have the slightest interest (or the time) to do the search herself. (It's
funny how I get roped into these kinds of projects...what is it about not
being able to say "no"? :-) And, of course, it's been giving me pains!
Since it is the beginning of a new year (2002 already! - where did the
time go?), I think it would be a wonderful idea to have a roll call.
Generally, roll calls are not encouraged, but once (or twice) a year is not
going to hurt. So, dust off all your information - I want to hear from each
and every one of you.
Wishing everyone the best for the new year!
Cheers,
Gwen Cameron
