I don't know who you were asking about more information....if you were asking
Celia or me. If you were asking me....I can only tell you that I told you all I know about
the siblings of my great-grandfather, John Cavanagh. His sister Catherine married an actor
in New York and died young, lived in poverty (though the Bells who raised them in N.Y.
were extremely wealthy). She died slumped over her sewing machine. And as I told you
Charles took off on a ship, never to be heard of again.
My great-grandfather who ran away and married Aunties Bell's lady's
maid,(Ellen Brennan)was eventually forgiven and was given a stocked gentleman's farm
by Auntie Bell. My great-grandfather was robbed and murdered many years later in Pompton
Lakes, N.J.
That's all I know! It's great that you have a male Cavanagh for the DNA test.
Usually in December during the Christmas Season the surname Projects have a discount for
new DNA tests. Don't get anything less than 37 markers for a test. If I can be any
help let me know....good luck!
Kathryn
