A candlelight ceremony was performed at St Peter Cathedral this afternoon unitied in
matrimony Mary Agnes GORMAN, daughter of Mr & Mrs Walter GORMAN of Scranton and
Patrick Aloysius CAVANAGH, son of the late Mr and Mrs James CAVANGH of Ireland. Miss Hanna
BRADY, a cousin of the bride and Mr John GORMAN brother of the bride acted as Maid of
Honor and Best Man. There were four bridesmaids, Misses Stella and Hannah MAGRAHN (sic
MAGHRAN), Mary Elizabeth REEDY and Anne KIRKWOOD, cousins of the bride.
The ushers were Edward COLEMAN, James MAHON, James AHERN and Hugh GALLAGHER.
Afer the reception was held at the home of the bride's parents the couple left for a
honeymoon trip to New York City.
