Thank you, Lois W. for that favorable reference. However the bulk of information I have
on Causeys deals with the specific history of William Causey, 1744-1828, and his
descendants. There is, never-the-less, some information in the 'Related Files' on
early Causeys in Jamestown, Maryland and North Carolina.
The actual address of the William Causey web pages is:

The DESCENDANTS OF WILLIAM CAUSEY, 1744-1828 is a massive posting and finding your way
around can be daunting. Try the following route to get to a section of interest on a
specific descendant:
1) Go to the "***THE DESCENDANTS OF WILLIAM CAUSEY, 1744-1828***" link found in
the "Related Links" section of the web page on William Causey.
2) Then click on "Contents" in the banner at the bottom of the title page that
appears.
3) Find that entitled section "Genealogical Report of the Descendants of William
Causey, 1744-1828" near the bottom of the items listed. The first page that comes up
is for William Causey.
4) Then scroll down to near the end of the section on William Causey and click on the
children's names at the end of that section on each of William Causey's wives that
lead you to the child, or grandchild, etc. of William Causey that you wish to read about.
You are actually stepping up (or down) the family tree when you follow this method.
Merry Christmas to All....
