Thanks for the info on Bowen. Now I have a question. I have had some
health problems which took me out of the loop for a while and I've fallen
way behind in my research. Just wondered if anyone had found anything
beyond my road block. James Causey, DOB yob 1755 and joined the
revolutionary war effort in Sep 1776 (I believe that year is right). I am
a descendant of his through the following:
James Causey 1755
Zebedee Causey 1780 m. Lucretia Cooper
Asa Garden Causey 1823 m. Frances Martin
William Francis Causey 1855 m. Caroline O. Brown
Robert F. Causey 1904 m. Maybelle Stalvey
Robert F. Causey, Jr. 1937 (me)
If anyone has any information that would help me connect James to his
ancestors, I would greatly appreciate it.
James and his brother John joined the Revolutionary War effort in Sep. 5,
1777.
Thanks,
Bob Causey

Subject: [CAUSEY] Old Causey Researchers
Bowen Dees and I are some of the original internet Causey
researchers. You
will find our "stuff" all over. And we were researching together 10 or so
years before the internet-and home comuters came into being.
I heard from Bowen the other day-and wanted to share it with you folks-
(Old Causey Researchers)
Hi,
I've been out of the loop (re Causey research) for several years. Now 90,
and having to use a walker, I can't do much of anything. But my mind is
still clear, and I still have curiosity re how things are going in
Causey-land.
Have any BIG findings been made in (say) the last five years?
I am still waiting for someone to tie Nathaniel and Thomasine to one of
the lines of Causeys in America. Any luck on this?
And I'd like your comment on the piece I did a long time ago -- "Some
American Causeys". Has anyone found errors in it?
Hope all goes well with you. I'm healthy, but a bad fall two years aga
left me with a painful back which restricts my actifities a lot. But I
feel lucky to be able to do most of the things I want to do.
My best, Bowen
I told him I knew of no big new finds-if I am wrong, please let me know.
If any of you want to write him-also let me know.
