Diane,
I was hoping that if there were old records from when he founded the church
in Bakerhill, there might have mentioned something as a lead. The church
was founded in 1850 and Phillip remarried in 1851. If Mary did die in
Barbour County, she was probably buried at the church cemetery. If she is
the grave is not marked. There are several marked just by piles of stones
and some are not marked, just sunken places in the ground. One of the
persons in charge of the cemetery stated they are afraid each time a grave
is dug that they are going to hit an old unmarked grave.
How has your research gone on your line? Did you ever find any documents
for confirmation as Ezekial and Elizabeth's son?
Barbara

Hi Barbara,
Good to hear from you. Thank you for the information. Just thought I would
throw this in, something to think about: I believe Mary Causey Belcher
probably is buried in Georgia & died before Phillip moved to Alabama. What
do you think ?
Diane
