Surname: Causey
-------------------------
As for as I know, I am not a descendant of William Causey, b. 1744 of Ireland,
however I am curious if there is a conection with my line of causeys at
all. If Thomas was born in South Carolina in 1778, then his father William
must have been there during the same time frame that my "James Causey"
was there. James Causey was born 1755 in South Carolina and had a brother
named John. Both were in the Rev. War. I can't find a trace of where they
came from, but from the line of James, there is the following:
James Causey - 1755
Zebedee Causey - 1780
Asa Garden Causey - 1823
William Frances Causey - 1855
Robert F. Causey - 1904
Robert F. Causey, Jr. 1937
I have information that says that your William, after leaving Ireland and
coming to Maryland moved to SC and had 11 children by his first wife and
5 by his second wife. All of them were living in SC for a time and then
the whole family moved to Ms. I am wondering if there is a chance, since
there were so many of them, if it is possible that some of the older ones
might have stayed in SC and if so, could it be possible for this to be
my James and John. If u have any knowledge of this at all, please let me
know.
A note to my private email address would be appreciated very much. I don't
always get back to this forum that often.
My address is:

Thanks very much
