Ezekial's daughter, Mary Causey, married Philip Belcher. They named one of
their sons, Sherod Jackson Belcher. His daughter, Mary Ida Belcher, married
Albert Lee Ray. Albert Lee and Mary Ida, along with Sherod and his wife are
buried at County Line Primitive Baptist Church at County Line, Henry County,
AL. Albert Lee was my 2nd great grandfather. Ezekial was my 5th great
grandfather. I have never found Philip Belcher's grave yet.

I don't know if this will be helpful or if it will just add to the
mystery, but - in some information given to me years ago by a descendant
of Ezekiel Causey. Ezekiel was thought to have been born in MD and
migrated to NC and then to Jefferson County, GA where he died -
presumabably enroute to Ala. He had a son John (possibly the John in Ala
with Angeline? The names Israel and Sherrod were given to sons of Ezekiel
and might have been passed down. Whether this John could have been the
father of Alexander who married Angeline Bone in Bibb County or not, I
cannot say. But I know Ezeliel was in Jefferson County by 1817 as his son
Israel married there that year.
