The family shows up in several Cencus records.
Victoria Melissa Causey is their youngest child born about 1883 She married a William
Joseph Kell or Keel in about 1901. I don't have any record of their children or death
records. She remarried a Louis C. Michell 10 September 1916.
Her siblings are: Sarah E. Causey, Mary A. Causey, William Lafayette (Fate) Causey, and
Gabriel Louis Causey.
I know that Gabriel Louis is buried in Bell Chapel Cemetery, Akins, AR; the others may be
close.
The Native American connection has been rumored in the family for a very long time. There
is only one recorded Causey that accompanied his wife on the Trail of Tears, but I
haven't found a direct connection to our line of the family.
