The Randolph Leader January 1901
NEWSPAPER ABSTRACTS FROM "THE RANDOLPH LEADER", Roanoke, Randolph County,
Alabama for JANUARY 1901
NEWSPAPER Issue of Wednesday, January 2, 1901
Notwithstanding last Sunday was a rainy, dreary day, it brought sunshine and
happiness into two young hearts, which now beat as one. Mr. Will Causey and
Miss Meta Manley hied away to Texas, Georgia in the morning hours and were
united in marriage by Esquire Beard. They were accompanied by Lon Pool and
Miss Myrt Manley, Luther Stewart and Ed Causey. Returning in the evening to
the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. N.C. Causey, the bridal party
were entertained at a sumptuous supper. The bride is the oldest daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Manley and is a winsome little woman. The groom is an
employee of B.O. Driver's drug concern. Mr. and Mrs. Causey are staying at
the home of the groom's parents.
Will Causey was the son of Nathan C. Causey & Unknown. I have a little more info on
N.C. Causey and 4 children. I have collected this info over the years but have never been
able to connect my Causey line to this one. Contact me if you want the rest of the little
bit I have on this family.
