Donald,
I am researching your same Christopher Corsey family. I believe that Christopher's first son was my G-G-GF. Would love to share information with you.

According to my research, my g-g-grandfather, John A. Causey, b. cir 1839, Chambers Co., AL had an older sister named Martha Margaret Causey. I am unsure of her exact birth date but from census records I have her as being born cir 1832 in GA and living with her parents in Chambers County, AL in the 1840 census, with parents in Heard Co. GA in 1850 census and with parents back in Chambers Co, AL in the 1860 census.
Could this be a match?
I have her parents (from dictation of their granddaughter, my g-grandmother, Ollie Bell Causey White) as Christopher Corsey, b, 1793 and Sarah b. 1806 in GA. If this could be a match I have a list of about 11 brothers and sisters.

I'm not sure I have what you are searching for but I do know that our lines intersect and are probably closely related. I have been away from the research for awhile and have only begun to get back in the groove but I would like to compare data with you in the hope that we can get past some blocks.
