Rod,
thank you for the personal note. I am interested in the list because I
am researching the "Couser" (Causer, Causard, Causart, Cowser, Caussart,
etc.) surname - which appears in my family tree.
My Couser ancestors are:

m. aft. 1779, James Dunlap (d. 27 Feb. 1826)
prob. South Carolina, USA
d. ?
daughter of
Couser [Cousar], Richard
b. c. 1720
Virginia, USA?
m. bef. 1759, Martha _______, in Virginia
d. bet. 5 Oct 1779 (Will) & 9 Dec. 1783 (Appraisement)
St. Mark's Parish, Camden District, South Carolina
A daughter of James Dunlap and Letea Couser was Jeanette Letea
(Letitia?) Dunlap, b. 27 Aug. 1796 in South Carolina; m. 30 Jan. 1816,
James Hood (my g-g-g-Grandfather); d. 5 Nov. 1862 in Gwinnett County,

I hope your list expands, to our mutual benefit!

Roger,
Welcome to the Causer Mailing List. This is a very very small list
(only 3 members now) so don't expect a lot of messages.
Feel free to post you details and connection with the Causer name (to
Causer-L(a)rootsweb.com). My own connection is through my father's mother,
Sarah Anne Causer who was born in Preston, Lancashire, England in 1887.
Her father was William born in Warwickshire, Eng. and his father was
Thomas born Ireland?. William is supposed to have had a brother Thomas.
Sarah was one of 13 children.
Regards
