Dear Marti:
Thanks for your response regarding my surname, Causbie. I cannot find material earlier
than 1850. Then our
name was spelled Cosby. By 1880 the same brothers were Causbie. Cozby I have not seen in
our family
materials. In 1880 the two Causbie brothers, Samuel Monroe and Washington Jackson (Hick)
(my greatgrandfather)
and families immigrated from Marshall County, Tennessee to Sharp County, Arkansas. Some
children moved on the
Texas, and most stayed in Arkansas. I believe earlier ancesters lived in North Carolina,
probably Cosbys.
I'll be glad to provide specific information if it will be of help to you.

I would love to exchange materials. I have my Cozby information, I
have 2
Cozby ancestors, Robert Marion and his brother Abner. I have sent nearly
everything that I have to Bob Cozby's Frame. It is a web site that can be
accessed with that name. He is a computer teacher and does the web site for
all of us. I do have some pictures and documentation for everything that is
listed with my name. I am eager to see your material.
Let me hear.
