PAULA J. BEAVER
MORGANTON - Paula Jean Beaver, 36, of Glen Alpine, died Oct. 29, 2002, at Mission St.
Joseph's Hospital in Asheville after a period of declining health.
Born April 13, 1966, in Burke County, she was a daughter of Willie Causby Beaver of Glen
Alpine and the late Grover Lee Beaver.
She was a member of The Church of the Living God by Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Edward Beaver.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two sons, Kyle Dean Beaver and Korey Lee
Beaver of the home; a fiance, Tommy Presnell of Glen Alpine; a twin brother, Paul Dean
Beaver of Glen Alpine; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cathy and Denver Davis of
Nebo, and Trudy and Greg Bills and Mary Hardin of Glen Alpine; three nephews, Keith May,
David Hardin and Matthew Beaver of Glen Alpine; three nieces, Robin Owens, Amy Beaver and
Kayla Beaver of Glen Alpine; a grandniece, Cassidy Owens of Glen Alpine; and a number of
uncles and aunts.
The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. Rick Bishop and Rick Davis at 3 p.m. Saturday
at Drucilla Independent Fundamental Church in Marion.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at the church one hour prior to the service and at the residence, 3830
Grover Beaver Road, Glen Alpine, at other times.
