MARY F. CAUSBY
MORGANTON - Mary Frances "Rudy" Causby, 77, of Linville Street, Glen Alpine,
died Dec. 28, 2001, at Grace Hospital.
Born April 7, 1924, in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of late William G. and Eula
Burns Rudisill Sr.
A member of the Glen Alpine Baptist Church, she was an employee of Tastee Freeze for 35
years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max John Causby; and a brother, Guy Rudisill.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike and Elizabeth Causby and Chris
Causby of Glen Alpine; a daughter and son-in-law, Dede and Doug Keir of Thomson, Ga.; a
brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Bonnie Rudisill of Drexel; six grandchildren, Ryan
Causby, Kirt Abernathy, Gretchen Johnson, Krystal Lamb, Shane Lamb and Ben Kincaid; and a
great-grandchild, Cassie Johnson.
The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. Michael Brown Oliver Price at 11 a.m. Monday at
her church.
The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at Sossoman Funeral Home from 7 to 9 tonight and at the residence of
Mike and Elizabeth Causby, 507 Pea Ridge St., Glen Alpine, at other times.
