We don't know Jack's date of birth, but we have a copy of a will he left with my
husband's parents leaving them executors. When I get home from work, I'll check
the will to see if there is a date of birth.
When Jack, Morgan and Dylan stayed out in Noyack that summer, we got the impression he was
on the run from something. Donald, my father-in-law was a first cousin. Jack's mother
Peggy was a sister to Mildred Vacarr Bonforte.
Peggy also was, of course, a Vacarr who married into the Caulfield family.
Jack and boys hung around for a bit and rented a bungalow out on Long Island for the
winter. Then they moved to Guatamala, and then the last we heard through a letter written
to my in-laws was that they were either headed for Spain or were already there. I remember
seeing the letter, but unfortunately, my husband John said it wasn't found in his
papers.
We remember Jack saying that he managed the Jefferson Airplane. Are you in the music
business, too?
John and I met Jean when she and Jack were still togethor and living in New Jersey. John
and I spent a weekend with them. Dylan was maybe three or four and Morgan was a baby. I do
have some pictures somewhere.I remember her as being very sweet, tall and with long hair.
They had acamper truck, and lived in a house with chickens.
We were saddened to hear about her death. Just what did she die from?
Keep in touch. We'll see what else we can find.
